The Next Big Project will be to bring three totally different one man shows of Comedy and Music Theatre to THE GUILD in Charlottetown, PEI, to be presented and recorded over 3 week-ends this summer.

I've been shuffling the cards a bit and taking stock of all the material I've created over the years, and we decided to present and record these three (totally different) shows in PEI, because, in the first place, we're going to be there anyway, and also, the audiences there are remarkable tolerant of my work. We were about to do it last summer, but then I had to go and get a heart attack, and so much for that plan. But I'm feeling fit and fabulous now, so, let the good times roll.
That's three shows (completely different, with NO repeats of bits and pieces) over six performances at THE GUILD, 115 Richmond Street – Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. First show, Saturday, July 19 & Sunday, July 20 The second ( different) show Sunday, July 27 & Monday, July 28 and the Third (different from the previous two )Saturday, August 2 & Sunday, August 3. Performance time is at 8 pm.

My one-man show is in an interesting state right now. Actually it's hopefully always in an interesting state. New stuff emerges pushing old stuff out, old stuff resurfaces and gets put back in the show, themes and threads and monologues interweave in new ways, engendering other ideas. The only criteria which hopefully is achieved is that of an audience leaving saying, "Well, THAT was worth it."
It'll never be finished. Somehow, I find this comforting.

The Massively Important Theatrical Event of the Century; "Culture Shock", is alive and kicking, and enjoyed it's twenty-sixth anniversary this summer. Nobody's actually doing it this year, but it's still around.
